What identification do I need for notarization?
Florida requires current, government-issued photo ID with a signature. This typically means a driver's license, passport, or state ID card. Military IDs are also acceptable. Expired IDs cannot be accepted under Florida law.
How much does notarization cost?
Florida sets maximum fees for notarial acts: $10 per signature for standard notarizations. Travel fees for mobile service and convenience fees for remote online notarization may apply and will be discussed before your appointment.
Can you notarize any document?
While I can notarize most documents, Florida law prohibits notaries from notarizing blank documents or those missing crucial information. I also cannot notarize documents where I'm named or would benefit financially.
